Who is responsible for your data

10x Works, a UK business, is responsible for the personal data described here. If you have a question about it or want to use any of your rights, email [email protected].

We collect as little as we can. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

What we collect and why

When you book an assessment. Bookings are made through Cal.com. We receive your name, your email address, the time you booked and anything you tell us in the booking form. We use it to hold the assessment and to follow up on it. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract. We keep it while we are in conversation with you and for 12 months after. We review what we hold once a year and delete what is past that.

When you email us. We keep your email, your address and anything you send us so we can reply and keep a record of our conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the business and answering the people who write to us. We keep it as business correspondence for as long as it is needed for that.

When you visit the site. Like every website, ours is served by computers that log requests: your IP address, the page you asked for, when, and what your browser says about itself. Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site, and Heroku, which hosts it, keep these logs. They are used to keep the site secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in doing that. Cloudflare and Heroku keep these logs for as long as their own policies say.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. If you go on to book through Cal.com, their site may set its own cookies, under their privacy notice.

Who else handles your data

  • Cal.com runs our booking page and sends us the details of your booking.
  • Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces. Your browser fetches the font files from Google, so your IP address reaches Google.
  • Cloudflare sits at the edge of the site, passing requests to it and protecting it from attack.
  • Heroku, part of Salesforce, hosts the site and our records, in its EU region.

Each handles your data under its own terms. Cal.com and Google may process it outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by their standard terms, which include the safeguards UK law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us:

  • for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • to correct it if it is wrong
  • to delete it
  • to stop using it, where we rely on our legitimate interest

Email [email protected] and we will reply within a month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed. The terms for using the site are in our website terms of use.
